The Calendar and Contacts Server (CCS) plugin enables your cPanel users to manage their CalDAV (calendar) and CardDAV (contacts) accounts directly from your cPanel & WHM server. Upon installation, CCS becomes the primary tool for calendar and contacts management.

Warning:

  • This plugin was removed in cPanel & WHM version 120. cPanel & WHM version 120 and later utilize the cpdavd service for calendar and contacts management.
  • This plugin does not support the CloudLinux™ 9, Rocky Linux™ 9, or AlmaLinux OS 9 operating systems.
  • This plugin requires PostgreSQL®. Removing PostgreSQL will also result in the removal of CCS.
  • If your server is on a NAT-configured network, it must support loopback NAT. CCS needs to connect to the server’s public IP address.

Z-Push - ActiveSync Support

We provide Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) support for CCS through the included Z-Push - ActiveSync Support plugin. Z-Push is an implementation of the EAS protocol, enabling the synchronization of calendars, contacts, and email on Android™ devices. This additional plugin is automatically installed when you install the CCS plugin and will only be visible if CCS is already installed.

Once this plugin is installed, your cPanel users can configure their calendars, contacts, and email on their Android devices using EAS. For more information, please consult our How to Sync Calendars, Contacts, and Email on Android™ Devices documentation.

The logs for the Z-Push - ActiveSync Support plugin are regularly rotated if they become excessively large. For further details on Z-Push log files, refer to our The cPanel & WHM Log Files documentation.

If ActiveSync support is not required for CCS, you have the option to uninstall Z-Push while keeping CCS installed.

Warning:

The Z-Push - ActiveSync Support plugin was deprecated in cPanel & WHM version 118 and is slated for removal in a future release. For detailed information, please see our cPanel Deprecation Plan documentation.
