Enabling SSL on Your Installation

To ensure secure communication and protect sensitive data, it is crucial to enable SSL on your installation. Follow these steps to successfully configure SSL:

  1. If you do not currently possess an SSL certificate, we recommend you purchase one.
  2. Proceed to configure the SSL certificate on the domain hosting your instance. The exact method for this configuration will vary depending on the hosting control panel you are utilizing.
  3. Update the System URL setting, which can be found in the General tab under Configuration > System Settings > General Settings. Ensure you enter your website's https:// enabled URL.
